I really appreciate Jackie's recent video about postpartum depression and birth trauma. Not only does she share some great information and helpful support strategies on this topic, it's clear that even the toughest biker dudes in the comment section are moved by her honesty and raw storytelling. Thank you for your bravery, Jackie!
Jackie has been sharing her journey as a beginner motorcyclist on her channel on Youtube. She uses riding as one of the coping strategies in her mental health utility belt - check her out!
Ryan's Race: A Rally for Mental Health Superheroes was an unparalleled success! We are loving seeing all the pictures and stories roll in from the amazing event we hosted yesterday. To see our community come together, despite the physical and metaphorical storms looming in our lives has been truly humbling. What an incredible reminder that we can all be Mental Health Superheroes with a little bit of bravery! Thank you everyone! #RyansRace2020
One of my favorite children's books, The Rhino who Swallowed a Storm, teaches us that sometimes we are faced with the threat of scary storms in our lives. When Rhino swallows the storm he must learn to navigate the consequences - but fortunately he has a supportive community to lift him up and guide him on his journey!
You can be part of our supportive community at Ryan's Race TOMORROW! Whether or not someone swallows this storm before morning, we'll be there rain or shine! We hope to see you there!
EDIT: We're moving check in to the gym!
Shout out to the Phoenix Suns Gorilla for supporting Ryan's Race: A Rally For Mental Health Superheroes! His name is 'Go' and he's awesome! You can be awesome too, sign up for Ryan's Race today!
